Quick query for a cousin (will call him He) which i found most baffling as i have never dealt with HB.
He currently lives with his wife and 2 kids (very young ages are between 2-5) and is current working full time.
he wants to claim HB but he is adamant he will be entitled to this benefit as he belives in his eyes his on a low income.
he earns little over 27k per annum, his OH is not working, they have 3k in savings under their name and 4k in savings for their kids.
i told him no way is he entitled to this due to his income, but he believe's his entitled to a HB reduction.
Is this the case, got me really confused. is he really a low income family
