DLA not received

Hi,

I recently had to reapply for DLA, as my previous claim had expired. I was unaware of this as I never received the reminder letter or a new form, so consequently I am owed a few months back payment as it took a while for me to find out what was going on.
In February I had the confirmation letter that my claim was accepted, and that the back payment would be made. There was no specific date on there. I have yet to receive a single payment for DLA, and have not got the back payment. My ESA has continued as normal.
Is this usual for claiming DLA (I have forgotten what happened the first time, as it was a while ago!) and I'm worrying for nothing, or has something gone wrong? I have serious issues with using the phone, which is why I have not called them already, and as they are not open at weekends, I obviously cannot call them now. I could really do with the money, which is why I am worrying so much.
