I just got confirmation of my benefit,after a home visit for a medical I have been placed in WRAG .My G.P. wrote to them and requested a home visit as I suffer bad panic attacks and anxiety when I go in to buildings and strange places (my G.P. speaks to me by phone as surgery visits are dreadful).
While I accept my illness is not life threatening/shortening I just would not be able to attend interviews at the Job centre.
I know there is an appeals procedure but not sure if that's the right route ? I did phone the benefit centre to see if they had had my medical report,they had. the heplful woman said she thought I would probably be able to deal with the J.C by phone but it does state face to face interviews.I really don't know what to do next and it's really shaken me I would be so grateful for any advice here .Thanks :)
