Confused about housing benefits and working part-time

Hello,
SO firstly my apologies if I am using the forum incorrectly etc. I only just created an account and thus new to posting.

I'm a little confused about housing benefits. There are so many sites out there with lots of information and calculators, but they've still left me confused.

So I'm wondering if anyone could kindly outline this for me please?
A single person aged 20.
*Is a person working Part-time (e.g 24 hours per week) eligible for housing benefits and if so how much if they are on minimum wage?
I've heard that the hours do not affect the benefit unlike others but the amount you earn does..
*What amounts do you have to earn to get what % of the benefit? (I realize that's a really complicated one but if anyone could outline that one for me it would be much appreciated).
