ESA benefit - how will one partner going back to work affect it?

My partner is currently unable to work due to a head injury, he gets ESA benefit and is in the 'support' group and is not due to be re-assessed for another six months.

I am not working at the moment and I understand that the amount he gets takes that into account.

If I go back to work how will that affect the amount of ESA benefit we receive? If I were to go back to work, either part or full time, would he still get ESA and how much would he get? Would it also depend on how many hours I worked?
