Anyone able to help with the miefield that is claiming JSA

Left work 30/09/2012 - This was due to Health reasons

Didn't sign on because i voluntarily left my work place

Struggled through six months until i was eligible for any kind of support.

Completed forms, registered with job centre

Informed i can not receive contribution based allowance as i have not accrued enough class 1 contributions.

I live with my partner, we are not married......She earns £18k a year.

As she is earning £18k, is their any point applying for Income Based JSA?

Is anyone aware of any other forms of help I could apply for.

I have debts which are now totally out of control (debt in my name only). If im not eligible for any form of support i dont know what to do next.
