Working 22 weeks of year - tax credits?

Hi all

I'm going to university in September and my partner is taking a 12 month career break to look after our 12 week old daughter, who will be 8 months.

How would tax credits be calculated in this instance? Our joint income for the period leading up to 2nd September will be about £15k. I know once I go to university we will receive full child tax credits and no working tax credits. What I want to know is will they base my income for the whole year on that figure, meaning I will get something ridiculous like £180 a week tax credits, or will they divide my income by 22 weeks and multiple by 52 for the whole year, and my award be around £30 a week?
