Please help, after reading everything on my local council Website regarding Housing benefit i am very confused. (Stockport Council).
At the minute i am currently lodging here there and everywhere amongst friends and family as i had to move out of my flat last year. There is a flat that will be available at the end of April 2013 which i would like to go for. I should have all the money needed to get in the property as i have been saving especially to get my own place. The rent for the flat will be £395.00 per calender month, as i am single its a 1 bedroom flat and i am 30 years old if this counts for anything.
As it stands i am getting no where with the local housing associations and its becoming more apparent to try rent privately, as i am claiming Contribution based Job Seekers Allowance because its difficult me actually getting into employment i guess due to large demand, i will have to seek help with rent therefore claiming Housing Benefit. So i have done the online calculator and checked the changes in Housing Benefit i am still very confused onto how much i will actually get, CAN ANYONE HELP???
