DLA Question

Hi all

After total of 28 weeks of work and the company I worked for over 18 years ditched my !!!, because they didn't wanna support me with my future treatment for my back

I recently had an ATOS assessment for limited work capability back in early February which the DWP decision maker decided in his own wisdom to award no points even though I am in continued discomfort and pain even siting, standing and walking. the only relief I get is laying flat on my back.. currently on very high powered neuropathical painkillers that make me feel wasted all the time, along with raging headaches.

Plus one key fact that I made ATOS aware that I was still under going treatment for this issue and was due for spinal injections which was carried out early this month.

Since September my mobility has deteriorated and am finding that Im having a balance issue and more and more I don't want to or afraid of going out on my own due to the fact I keep stumbling / falling and this is happening about once aweek, Fell own the stairs the other week and only last week opened the car door and fell back on to a wire fence... not good at all

Well we've decided to appeal the DWP decision because I don't think that any of my medical evidence has been read or understood my the decision maker, in the ATSO report it mentioned that my mobility would improve with a wheel chair? whilst I'm relying on my car and wont go and wont go out unless I can park near where I want to be, I walk using a stick now after seeing my consultant who advises it.

Now I approached DLA last July and was refused and whilst I asked them to relook at the claim, they came back and informed us of the same decision.. We have decided to reapply but my question is do I put in the claim form that DWP have recommended a wheelchair ? or are they just gonna come back with the same old rubbish...
