Getting help with rent

hi there , iam currently on income support and housing benefit and i am a single mum , i was thinking of going back to work now but i would need help with my rent as if i went in to full time employment i would loose my rent rebate ( i stay in a council house in Scotland )

I am not really clued up on the benefit system but heard i can work so many 20 hours and some of my rent gets paid for me , any help on this would be great , thanks
