My wife is 32 weeks pregnant and we recently put a claim into income support, moving from JSA, (its still processing - been 2 weeks now with no moneys!) my wife is the main claimant and i am the joint claimant.
i am a part time worker working 12 hours per week, but things seem to be dwindling at work, i am a cleaner and as i say only 12 hours but things seem to be going off in work with the way i feel from the boss as he is a bit dodgy, some other staff members say he fiddles the wages etc. anyways he makes me feel s**t and the job itself makes me feel really depressed! i am still in probationary period and i know if i mentioned to the boss i wasn't happy in the job he would say to me to leave as he keeps telling me that here is a young woman in the village that he is from that want the job i am doing, so i was wondering if i Quit the Job would our income support be stopped? And if so for how long as its not easy as it is having no moneys so please somebody give me advice?
P.S. I am on the hunt for another job and have been since i started the job i currently do. :)
