self employed holiday entitlement

looking for a bit of advice in relation to being self employed and the amount of holidays your entitled to take during the year.
Does any one know if you're entitled to the same amount of holidays as an employed person? and do holidays have any impact on tax credits received? (I know I'm not entitled to holiday pay)
