Job centre staff seem very keen for me to have one of these, is there any genuine advantage to having one, ( you can already look and apply for the jobs online without an account)? I am already registered with countless agencies online with cv s for job matches. Is it compulsory and can you be sanctioned for not having a gateway account? Not that I am getting any JSA c yet anyway as heard nothing for over two weeks.
