Im wondering if anyone can help me with this, my partner and i claim joint JSA, a year and a half ago when i was a single claiment i was on jsa and then put on the work programme, which i attended on a regular basis, then after a while my advisor became ill there and didnt get in touch with me for a while. Then my partner moved in with me and he claimed for me on his then ESA, as a joint claim. Then with the new assesments coming in he lost his ESA and we were put on JSA, i contacted the dwp to ask if i needed to still go on the work programme as we were now a joint claim, they said they didnt know, the jobcentre said no i didnt as my partner would now be the new claiment and he would look for work now, which he does. I hadnt heard from the work programme for over a year, then a few weeks ago i got a letter saying for information only you are on the work programme and just saying to keep up the agreement etc or you will be be no longer entitled to jsa and will be sanctioned, addressed from the goverment. My partner also got a letter saying for infomation only about the skills programme.
Last week he was moved to the work programme now, does anyone know if i need to go still, i know he definatley does, but i dont know wether i need to keep going or not, cause no one seems to tell me the right answer. or no one seems to know at the jobcentre, DWP or work programme, i dont want our money stopped for something im doing wrong, thanks.
