my husbands jsa cb has been stopped :(

oh got made redundant in december 2012, jsa cb got awarded from day after.
everything been going ok despite a few late payments, he has to privdoe my wage slips everymonth. not sure why ?
anyhow, he received a letter today saying because of a change in money coming in then he is no longer entitled to jsa cb or anything for that matter.
this can be because of 2 things...
a) my wage for january was £750 (my normal wage is around £550) however i always thought he could claim jsa cb no matter what my earnings were.
b) my husband has just became carer for our son , he doesnt receive any payments, only an underlying entitlement,( i was carer for my son but no longer meet the criteria ) however when i rang jobcentre they said i am still on their system as receiving carers allowance untill april (this still means that they are thinking im getting a rate of £58 a week - im not, but if i was it still shouldnt affect husbands claim)

i rang jobcentre and got through to switchboard, guy there said he doesnt know whats going on and will forward to correct people to ring us tomorrow.....

can anyone please advise on any of this
