Hi, I'm asking here for information to help my elder brother. He lives at home with our elderly parents; they own their own home and own it outright ( no morgage to pay ) . They obviously at 79 and 76 no longer paying Council Tax ( they have no savings ) but because my brother was working full time and living at home he had to pay Council tax benefit ( how much I don't know ) .He has now been told his job will become a part time job this has been done to prevent any of the 5 employees at his company being made redundant all 3 full time workers will now become part time my brother being one of them ,he has been told his hours will be reduced to 17 hours a week . I was wondering if this means he will now be entitled to CTB .obviously I don't know what his weekly income will now be but as he works in the Cinema industry ( as a projectionist ) I can't see it being a lot.
