inheritance £25000+ esa?

hi,

I hope someone can help me as I am about to receive about £25000 in inheritance from my father, but I am on esa, will this affect how much I am getting at the moment? I guess my esa will decrease because off this? I think I remember reading some where that you can have £16000 before this will affect my benefit?

I live in Scotland by the way.
