My partner and I are on ESA, we are in the support one not the work focused one. We're trying to find out whether or not my partner can work part time without us having it deducted from our benefits.
We were always told that he could work up to 24 hours a week but if he earned more than £20 a week it would be deducted, now online it seems to be saying he can work up to 24 hours a week and earn more without it being deducted.
On the nhs website it says up to £95 a week is allowed and on the directgov site it says £99.50 a week but its specifically talking about the work focused group.
I was wondering if anyone here's in the same situation with the same benefits who might know.
We have rang benefits loads and always get different answers, I'm not sure who to listen to!
