A friend of mine is having about £9,000 of child tax credits reclaimed for an alleged over payment. She has been seperated/divorced for five years but the Inland Revenue seem to think she is still living with her ex-husband. She has tried explaining to them but they do not seem to be listening. She has tried phoning a number which I think is 03000 573083 but keeps getting and answer machine and no response. Please what else can she do?
