Hi,
I have been awarded ESA assesment phase rate. I work 8 hours a week but cannot work more due to disability. I claimed because my mum died three weeks ago.
I got my award letter; and although I work 8 hours, and sent in two wage slips, I have been awarded the full £71 a week.
Is this right? I mean I know I've done everything right my end; I sent GPs sick certificate saying I can only work 8 hours, two wage slips and a covering letter explaining I work 8 hours. I was certain they would subtract my wage from the £71.
I know nothing about ESA or benefits in general but this seems weird?
