As the title says really, i'm looking at what benefits i can claim. Me and my girlfriend are expecting a baby which is due in june so we're hoping to be moved out my parents house by then. The only problem is since she's moved in...she's had to declare this to job seekers. As shes living with me and i work 37.5 hours on minimum wage she can no longer claim this. So moving out now is almost impossible.
We have recently registered to HomeMove and looked into housing benefits....But im not sure what conflicts what? I'd like to wait for homemove to pick me but being on Band C makes things take a long time and with the baby due soon i don't think this is an option.
So my main question is, if im working 37.5 hours and my girlfriend is not and pregnant ...what can i claim? Any help would be great
