Hi there, hope someone can advise me.
I've been moved from IB to ESA and am now in WRAG. This is fine, I desperately want to be able to return to work, although it will be a fairly slow process.
My question is that the training provider I'm with has been frankly useless from the beginning. The appointment was made and confirmed by the job centre, but when I reached their offices the training provider knew nothing about me. I contacted the job centre so they couldn't complain I hadn't complied, and eventually the TP sent another letter sending me to a group session miles from my home.
I contacted the TP, they said they thought I'd already had a one to one meeting, and told me they would contact the specific trainer I would be working with.
I've had one meeting with her, then no contact for months. She then arranged an appointment for today - which she completely forgot about and she wasn't even in the usual office.
Sorry for all the detail, I'm only just calming down slightly now, I was absolutely livid! My question - I really, really don't have any confidence in either my trainer or the company she works for. In others experience is there likely to be any way of switching to a different TP? I had the choice of continuing to see an advisor at the job centre but thought the 2 TPs working locally sounded very positive, so I took that route.
It was impressed on me at the job centre that once I'd committed to the TP option that was it, but frankly the likelihood of these jokers actually helping me in any way to get back to work seems incredibly remote.
If anyone can make any suggestions I'd be truly grateful, I know that I have to continue with WRA of some kind - but quite honestly, activity of ANY kind looks very unlikely!
